Is this a pyramid scheme?
I know what you are thinking (because I thought this too). No, Beachbody is designed to help you with your wellness. You do not have to sell anything or become a coach if you don’t want to. You can do the workouts and nutrition and work on yourself. It is all about forming healthy lifestyle changes.
Do I have to go to the gym to workout or do they have to be at home?
This is totally up to you! I choose to workout at home because life as a nurse can be hard and busy so I know that I am able to get it done at home on my own time. You can also do these at the gym if that is what you really want to. These workouts can go with you ANYWHERE! Not going to lie, I still have a gym membership for times that I need heavier weights or for certain programs that I know that would be better done there. That is a personal choice. ( I do have weights at home, even though everywhere is sold out now…thanks COVID).
What kind of workouts are available?
There are 1,500 different workout videos to choose from. There is HIIT, cardio, weight lifting, yoga, pilates, boxing, dancing, no equipment workouts, and workouts under 30 minutes. You name it, and it will probably be on BOD.
How much money will this cost me?
Depends on what completion or challenge pack you choose! Prices can range from $130 to $219. The Beachbody on Demand workouts are good for a one time payment for the year. Also, in that price you get the option of doing a shakeology option, performance option, deluxe option or the mega option. See details below…

Is there a time commitment for this?
There is not a set time commitment. It is all about the time you are willing to put into yourself! These workouts are able to be done at your own pace and with your schedule. You do have the opportunity to be a part of different challenge groups that will do different workouts together for accountability and motivation, but that is something that you can decide to do if you want to.
What is the accountability group about?
My accountability group is a private Facebook group. It is a place where we do daily check-ins with everyone. We talk about goals, mini challenges are offered for giveaways, we post whenever we have done our workout for the day, cheer each other on, share tips/recipes, reach out for support, etc. It is a community that uplifts each other. It is honestly a great place to just be able to get the support and love that you need to help push you through whatever you may be going through.
Will I be able to get one-on-one help with my health and wellness goals?
ABSOLUTELY! That is what I am here for! Together, we can develop goals and figure out how you want to achieve those! We can meet up, zoom, or even chat on the phone. I am there to be your biggest cheerleader when it comes to reaching your health and wellness goals! You will always have access to me and I am always willing to help with any questions!
Are beachbody workouts flexible?
Very! Like stated earlier, you are in control of what workouts you want to do and when you want to do them. The great thing about BOD, is that you can take it absolutely anywhere! If you are out of town or just at home, you can access these from your computer, phone, ipad, or even apple tv or amazon firestick. (I personally use mine on my firestick so that I can get the best view on my tv).
Can I fit these workouts into my busy schedule? How long are the workouts?
YES! These workouts can range from 10 minutes to a hour. Depending on what you have time for and what you want to commit to. I am a nurse so I work typically three 12 hour shifts a week. I like to do workouts that are about 30 minutes long in order to accommodate the days that I work. If you think about it, you probably spend more than 30 minutes a day scrolling on your phone or just sitting down watching tv. Why not channel that 30 minutes into a productive workout! I use to think that I had no time to workout and that my life was just TOO busy. I realized once I started dedicating a little bit of my time to doing it, that I wasn’t too busy for just 30 minutes a day. It is all about your mindset. If you tell yourself you don’t have time, then you will find a way to avoid doing it. Change your mindset and everything else will fall into place.
What is Shakeology?
Shakeology is more than just your average protein shake. It is a superfoods shake!

Do I have to buy the products?
You never have to do anything that you don’t want to! I tell people that if you purchase a challenge/completion pack, that you are getting the most out of your money. Try the products for a month, and if you do not like them then you can cancel the monthly subscription. You never know until you try!
What kind of nutrition programs are available?
The two programs are 2B Mindset and Ultimate Portion Fix. These programs have all kinds of recipes to use and show how to use portion containers or tracking depending on which direction you want to go.

How can working out help outside of physical changes?
I know that everyone wants to make physical changes when it comes to working out. It is in our DNA to want to “look” the best. I understand, I have been there!
For me, the workouts changed me mentally, not just physically. I felt stronger and more confident in myself. I worked on myself in a way that I didn’t look in the mirror and feel bad about myself or talk down to myself. My mindset completely changed and I started to love myself for who I was and not just because I was physically changing. (Don’t get me wrong, physical change has motivated me to keep going sometimes). It is more than just that though. It is about the mental change too. You will have a harder time committing to change if you have not changed your mindset. This is not a quick fix, but a significant lifestyle change.
